Annual Business Gathering: March 19, 2010 at St. Croix National Golf Course. Social Hour at 6:00; Appetizers at 6:30; Performance Bar (buffet style) at 7:30 and entertainment to follow. Entertainment includes a walking magician as well as City Vibe, one of the most requested bands in the Metro. They play mostly '60s and '70s rock and dance style music. Plan on a cocktail party-style atmosphere. Business casual attire appreciated. Invitations will be sent on or around February 19, 2010.
1st Annual Somerset Chamber of Commerce Golf Outing: Monday, August 9, 2010 at Bristol Ridge Golf Course. Registration at Noon; Golfing (18 holes) starts at 1:00; Dinner to follow. $70/chamber member; $250 for chamber member foursomes; $80/non-chamber member; $300/non-chamber member foursomes; $25/person for dinner only. Somerset's first annual "Movie in the Park:" Come to Village Park on Saturday, August 28th for Somerset's first annual "Movie in the Park" event starting at 6 pm. For just $10 per car, come enjoy food and games to be followed by "Monsters vs. Aliens" on the big screen. Feel free to bring blankets and lawn chairs to enjoy the movie right in the outfield. Santa Night/Youth Hockey Night: The Somerset Chamber of Commerce, in conjunction with the Somerset Hockey Association, will be hosting our annual Santa Night at the Montpetit Ice Arena on Wednesday, December 1, 2010. Treats and warm beverages will be provided along with an opportunity to meet Santa and have your picture taken with him (please provide your own camera). The Somerset Hockey Association will also be using this time to sign up participants in their youth hockey program. A paid spaghetti dinner will also be available.
